Evan Parker is NASCAR’s managing director of series marketing and content strategy, where he oversees the sanctioning body’s relationships with the sport’s top partners, chairs NASCAR’s Content Committee, and manages NASCAR Creative Design, an internal creative agency. Parker joined NASCAR in June of 2011 as director of entertainment marketing and content strategy. Based in NASCAR’s Los Angeles office, Parker worked with Hollywood executives and producers to integrate NASCAR into television shows and films. In 2015, Parker was promoted to senior director, brand platforms, and joined NASCAR’s Charlotte headquarters, where he lead the development of NASCAR’s Marketing Calendar, and managed tent-pole industry-wide marketing initiatives, such as season launch, the playoffs, NASCAR Salutes and Race to Green. Parker holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Maryland.
